This page explains what information is collected, how it's used, and who it's shared with when you use the Scar mobile app ("Scar", "the app"). By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Account informationWhen you sign up with email, your email address and the display name you choose; when you sign in with Google or Apple, the basic profile information that provider shares (email, name). Browsing the catalog doesn't require an account — an account is only needed for features like your garage, favorites, and AI video generation.

Vehicle photos and generated videosWhen you use the AI video feature, the vehicle photos you upload and the videos generated from them are stored securely and tied to your account. Only you and the systems that power the generation process can access this content.

Purchase and subscription informationYour payment details (card numbers, etc.) never reach Scar when you buy a Premium subscription or a token pack — payment is processed directly by Apple. An anonymous user identifier is shared with our subscription infrastructure provider so we can manage your subscription status and token balance.

FavoritesModels you add to favorites are stored only on your device — they're never sent to a server or synced with your account.

How We Use This Information

We don't use your information for advertising and we don't sell it to third parties. The app contains no ad or analytics/tracking SDKs.

To create your account, keep you signed in, and provide personal features like your garage and favorites.
To generate the AI video you request from the photos you upload.
To correctly reflect the Premium membership or token balance you've purchased on your account.
To respond to support requests.

Third-Party Service Providers

To operate the app, some data is shared with the following infrastructure providers, solely to provide the relevant service:

Supabase — account sign-in, database, and file storage.
RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management (using an anonymous user identifier).
Apple (App Store) — payment processing.
fal.ai — AI video/image generation; it processes the photo you upload only for the generation request itself.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

If you'd like us to delete your account and all data associated with it (photos, generated videos, profile information), contact us at the email address below — your request will be processed within a reasonable time.

Children's Privacy

Scar is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from this age group.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time; the date at the top of the page is updated for any material change.
